Some of you know, but probably many of you do not, that my wife, the lovely Susan Smith (@sgsmith_ on Twitter), has been writing a novel for the last 12 months or so.
Without giving too much away, I can say that it weaves together Māori and Pākehā worldviews in a speculative fiction coming-of-age story.
Word count is now closing in on at least 300,000 words, but she’s self-published the first chunk of this – just under 100 pages – as Book 1.
Of this first 100 pages, you can download the first three chapters for free here if you want to check it out.
Or… if you really want to make her day (and mine) you can support her by buying the first instalment.
Just click here or scroll to the bottom and hit the I WANT THIS button below.
