Which words should I learn in te reo Māori?

You’re probably already asking yourself what you’re going to do to learn some new reo this week. Here are a couple of good places to start:

• 365 Māori words. Learn one word every day for a year.
• 1000 Māori place names. These are great because once you learn the parts you can use what you know to figure out the meanings of new place names.
