Fieldnotes from Space is out now.
Fieldnotes from Space captures an earlier phase of the INTERSTELLAR DRIFT trajectory — quieter, more observational, and more suspended between ambient drift and rhythmic emergence. These tracks feel less like songs arriving fully formed and more like transmissions gathered from motion, weather, memory, and signal decay.
The album leans toward spacious downtempo textures, analog warmth, distant horizons, and a kind of documentary emotionalism — fragments gathered while moving through internal and external landscapes. Compared to later INTERSTELLAR DRIFT releases, the emphasis here is less on ensemble momentum and more on atmosphere, pacing, and suspended emotional geometry.
Recommended for: twilight flights, long roads, reflective work sessions, headphones after rain, quiet processing, and the strange emotional calm that arrives somewhere beyond exhaustion.
A permanent home for this album — including direct support and downloads — is being prepared.

Kia ora! Hey, I'd love to know what you think.
