The last four months haven’t aged me at all. That’s why I’m pleased to use this recent selfie on the cover of my fifth album – Hermes Exit, Vol. 1.

Inside Hermes Exit, Vol.1
This album is a compilation of tracks that I’ve released as singles at some stage but there’s some aspect of remixing involved. For example, I’ve been remixing some of the material from my lo-fi album as drum and bass tracks.

Crafting this album has been a journey of exploration and discovery, not just for me but for anyone who dives into its eclectic mix. This album is part of my plan to release 20 albums over the next two decades, each reflecting my style as it evolves as well as my passion for creating unique soundscapes.
In “Hermes Exit, Vol.1,” I’ve laid down a drum and bass foundation across all tracks, infusing each song with an energetic and pulsating rhythm. For instance, in “Men of Thunder and the Shining Sun (Underworld),” I’ve blended the ancient rhythms of Viking music with modern sonic textures, creating a track that feels like a time-traveling experience rooted in today’s beats.
Every song on the album has its own character – from the nostalgic and laid-back tones in “Lo-Fi Blow Fly (No Fly Zone)” to the synthesised echoes in “Mechanical Duck (Remix Redux).” “Habanera Hustle” brings in the vibrant Latin rhythms, while “Muad-Dib Runs the Voodoo Down (Arrakis Remix)” transports you to mystical and exotic landscapes.
This album is a reflection of my musical journey as of the end of 2023, showcasing not just my love for varied genres but also my commitment to pushing the boundaries of music. Whether you’re a fan of lo-fi, electronic, world music, or you’re just here for the rhythmic journey, “Hermes Exit, Vol.1” offers a bit of everything. Stay tuned for Vol. 2…!
