In 1964 Che Guevara gave a historic speech to the United Nations General Assembly. This is some of that speech set to music.

I’m not a communist. But I kinda like it. He’s talking about issues of sovereignty.

What else?

I also like Cuban music, especially the percussion, horns and bass.

So this is me on bass and electric guitars. The drummer is an AI and the horns are a mix between me and a couple of loops.

Che’s on vocals in Spanish with an introduction by whoever the secretary of the UN was in 1964.

I’ve also just upgraded from GarageBand to Logic Pro X and this track has been part of my learning curve.

If I was in a band I’d have to call it the Buena Vista Socialist Club.

Enjoy.
