If you’ve completed the National Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education (Vocational/Workplace), otherwise known as the NCALNE (Voc), you might have seen these seven key knowledge and skill areas represented in the infographic on the right.
The seven headings show a process for embedding literacy and numeracy. They complement, incorporate, and reflect the:
- National infrastructure that we now have in place for literacy and numeracy in New Zealand.
- Framework outlined by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) for embedding literacy and numeracy
- Structure of key unit standards and qualifications in Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education (ALNE)
